This limited edition timepiece has been meticulously crafted to celebrate British Watchmakers’ Day 2025, featuring a newly designed blue, white, and red dial — a colour scheme that naturally evokes a strong connection to British heritage and institutions.
Staying true to Alkin’s ethos of creating robust, functional tool watches, the Special Edition distills every element down to achieve a simple yet visually balanced design that offers maximum legibility, functionality, and versatility. This refined aesthetic is elevated with the introduction of polished Arabic numerals, markers, and a bold sword-and-arrow handset — marking an evolution in Alkin’s distinctive ‘house style.’ The applied numbers and markers are paired with a brushed sandwich dial, creating a sense of depth that catches the light from every angle. This effect is further enhanced by the circular brushing on the top dial and a vertical brush finish on the lower dial.
The use of sapphire crystal, Super-LumiNova and the Miyota 9039 automatic movement all demonstrates the central alkin commitment to quality and functionality. These firm choices in materials and movements exemplify our unwavering pledge to crafting timepieces of the highest caliber while maintaining an accessible price point.
A ceramic insert is house within the unidirectional rotating bezel, with the numbers and markers being laser etched and then filled with BGW9 Super-LlumiNova.
All versions of the Model Three will ship on a brushed stainless steel bracelet with solid endlinks and a milled clasp. Adjustment links are secured by screw pins and a six stop micro adjustment allows you to achieve a perfect fit.

Outstanding detail - the layered dial face and polished, outlined indices create a unique eye catching allure. Everything about this watch from the dial to the colors, case and bracelet are well considered and work to create a splendid viewing and wearing experience - ‘more than the sum of it’s parts’. Although I get a kick out of this watch, I love my black model three a little more. Having said that, this is nearly as good. If you want to know just how elegant this is, have look ot the lume shots.
In daylight it is obviously a tool watch and has a character all of its own.
Though it is nice to have part of limited edition, it would be a great shame if others were unable to enjoy this design. I particularly like the lengths of the hands and the way their trace on the face falls perfectly. So hop to it Alkin, give others a chance
I’m not much of a watch connoisseur, however, when a friend (Who is) told me about a watch brand with my name, I thought I would treat myself to an Alkin Model 1 way back in 2020. With the Model 3 to follow in 2024 and now both Model 2 (A gift for my daughter’s 17th birthday) and the M3 in 2025, I have completed the current set.
Of course, the original attraction was kindred name. However, why buy all four? I simply love the brilliant look, the high level of craftmanship, technical design, British quality & meticulous attention to detail in their design.
These watches don’t track your daily step count or monitor your heart rate. But its pure joy beyond any statistic to wear one on your wrist.
This watch is absolutely stunning. The sandwich dial is beautifully designed and gorgeous when it catches the light. The applied indices are perfect and the lume is outstanding. The only way it could be improved, is by the addition of an on the fly, adjustable clasp.Really nice leather pouch too.
I’m so happy I managed to get one of these and it hasn’t left my wrist, since it arrived.

What can I say. Disappointed I couldn't get a ticket for the watch makers show as I'd seen this shown online as the SE for the show, but glad there were some of this special edition left. Everything just works so well together. Another stunning Alkin watch
